You choose. Eartha Kitt, Marilyn Monroe, or Bettie Boop. All good.
And this was a pretty good year for me, running wise.
Next year I could be just as good, if you'll check off my Christmas list... Boo doo bee doop!
A Tiger Tail Roller
More portable than a foam roller and still able to get that rolling action! Takes up less room in a suitcase, which will come in handy, since I'm getting the distinct impression I'll be traveling a lot in 2014.
Some heavy duty resistance bands
I'm sick of the thin little therabands I have. I want a band that will actually RESIST me when I move. Something I can use to help work on improving my pull-ups and also use for stretching in addition to strength training. A variety pack of different resistances would be perfect!
A pretty, sparkly, fancy journal
When I started going to the gym regularly in 2012, I kept a journal, tracking my mileage and what I was doing at the gym in terms or reps, weights, etc. I really wanna get back in to that for this next year and I'd rather do it in something pretty. But wouldn't we all. :)
Entry Fee Paid for Spartan Race
I really want to run a Spartan Race in 2014. I may even be able to be convinced to run two... Especially if someone was willing to pick up the tab for one. I'm talking to you, Santa!!! :)
New Running Shoes
I'm not particularly sure yet what brand, kind, color...
Oh my goodness, why are there so many choices?!?!
Ok, I've been putting off buying new shoes because I feel overwhelmed. So what I really want for Christmas is for Santa to just KNOW what the right shoes are and drop them off in my size and a pretty color come Christmas morning.
These gorgeous purple Polartec Athleta leggings
Aren't they to DIE for?!? Purple is definitely towards the top of my favorite colors list right now and I would make sure that these running tights got put to excellent use. I might even just wear them casually; they're that cute. And I am still firmly in the camp that leggings aren't pants. I would break that rule for these, though...
Forme Jacket II from lululemon
Know what would pair well with those leggings? This jacket. And I don't even care that I'm mixing and matching my brands. I love the subtle pattern on this jacket.
I would wear this all the time. I could probably even get away with wearing it to work. It's just so classy!
The Nike+ Fuel Band in Rose Gold
I've been eying the Nike+ Fuel Bands for awhile and when they came out with the one in matte black with the rose gold accent, I was so excited. I really love how that takes this piece of practical jewelery and adds something to bring it up to being a little bit fancier. And I love that I can track it the same way that I track my runs with my Nike+ GPS SportWatch through the Nike+ website.
Plane Tickets (Mostly to San Fransisco)
I am definitely in need of tickets to get to Ragnar SoCal. So if Santa happened to have some extra frequent flyer miles he wanted to throw my way, I certainly wouldn't object to that. Plus, I'm hoping to travel for at least a few more races.
A new running buddy
Since moving to Tennessee, I have yet to make a new running friend. I'll admit, I've only been her two months and haven't actually had the opportunity to do much running (knee + time). However, that fact remains that of my previous running buddies, one is based in California now and the other based in Michigan. And it just doesn't work out for us to go for a run together on any random weeknight or weekend. So I'm hoping that in 2014, I will find a new partner to run with. Besides Rory. She doesn't talk back while I yammer on during long runs. :)
So there it is y'all! Everyone else had a Christmas Wish List, so I figure...
Hey, if everyone else runs off the cliff, I should, too... JUST KIDDING!
But seriously... Are we going running? Just let me know... I mean, no cliffs please, but otherwise...
