Ok y'all!
I know, you're all
"Where's Jessica been?"
"Why no blog posts in so long?"
"What is her FREAKING PROBLEM!?!?!"
Well, let me explain...
I know, you're all
"Where's Jessica been?"
"Why no blog posts in so long?"
"What is her FREAKING PROBLEM!?!?!"
Well, let me explain...
Ok, so here's the deal, guys...
I recently went through a pretty big breakup. After a long, long-term relationship, I'm now single.
It's been a big life change.
As a result, I started looking at new jobs outside the state of Michigan.
Then I applied for new jobs within my company, but outside the state.
I interviewed for two jobs in Boston and in Nashville.
I traveled and ran Ragnar Relay in the Adirondacks.
I traveled and worked an Electric Run in Indianapolis.
I got hired for a job in Nashville.
I started work in Nashville and lived in a hotel for a week.
I rented an apartment in Nashville and moved in.
Oh, and by the way, my office is also in the process of moving into a new building... So there's ALL THAT to deal with.
And, to top it all off, they hadn't hired my replacement for my old job. Since I was still in the company, I continued to cover my workload from my old job while taking on the responsibilities of the new job and working on arranging the office move.
STRESS? I have none.
Especially if one of you is interested in buying my house in Holland, Michigan. Seriously. It's for sale. PLEASE BUY MY HOUSE!!!
Oh, and throw one more thing in there: I thought it would be a good idea to run Ragnar Relay Tennessee. And it was a good idea, until I hurt my knee and couldn't run for two weeks. UGH.
So please, my dear blog followers, please forgive me. I've been absent and I am deeply apologetic.
But I promise, I have internet installed in my new apartment now. And the blogging will resume. Plus, my knee is finally healing from my injury and I've started running again! So I will have running things to blog about.
So stay tuned!!! There will be more regular blog posts starting...
NOW! :)
#runlove, my friends!
